Happy World Sight Day!

Every year of second Thursday of October, it called the ‘World Sight Day’ that WHO specified.

So, in this year, it was 12th October. In Cambodia, 'Cataract' is common eye disease because of the sun that is too hot.

 Even though it is serious disease becoming a blind,

 Cambodian people do not care so much due to missing proper treatment period.

 For that reason, Heart to Heart International Cambodia has been implemented promotion recognition

 about eye health and free eye checkup for children in commemoration of the World Sight Day in Cambodia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

As soon as we put up some banners about the WSD, children saw and read with inquisitive eyes,

and when their eyes met we thought we want to protect their clear eyes. When they had checkup,

 they seemed to be nervous. But after that, they heard that they did not have any problems with eye,

 and they smiled as if nothing happened.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Let us protect their eyes as beautiful as their warm-heart to allow them see the wider world!
