Health Care

Blindness Prevention Program

Since 2009, Heart to Heart Foundation has been conducting blindness prevention programs in seven countries, including Tanzania, Burundi, Malawi, and Bangladesh. We implement a people-centered, integrated blindness prevention management program to ensure that everyone can access necessary ophthalmological services and avoid visual impairment and blindness due to preventable eye diseases.

Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Management

Since 2021, we have been running a community-based non-communicable disease prevention and management program in the Battambang region of Cambodia. We enhance awareness of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension while improving access to related healthcare services, contributing to the prevention and treatment of these diseases.

Nutrition Improvement Program

We provide nutritious meals for children living in urban poverty areas in Navotas, Philippines, contributing to the improvement of their nutrition.

Water and Sanitation

Heart to Heart Foundation's water and sanitation improvement projects are based on WASH, a key value in public health within international development cooperation, and a major component of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 6 announced by the UN in 2015. We contribute to the prevention of waterborne diseases through sustainable improvements in water and sanitation environments for children and local residents in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), enhancing hygiene awareness, behavior change, and governance in water and sanitation. These initiatives not only aim to eliminate diseases but also help reduce absenteeism among students, promote women's social participation, and increase labor productivity, creating additional socio-economic value and contributing to environmental preservation.

Education and Protection

Heart to Heart Foundation supports children and youth to protect their dreams from discrimination and inequality through rights promotion projects, future generation education programs, and scholarship support.

Humanitarian Support

We support communities and vulnerable groups threatened by epidemics, disasters, and wars, safeguarding their rights to survival and health.
