Through ‘Eye Health Promotion and Prevention of Blindness in Selected Areas of Bangladesh' project', the Heart to Heart Foundation established and managed three Vision Centers, serving as primary healthcare hubs for local communities. These centers delivered high quality eye healthcare services to the residents of the region.

We significantly contributed to strengthening the capabilities of eye healthcare personnel in Bangladesh by providing comprehensive eye healthcare training to the vision centers nurses and government Health workers. Additionally, we conducted eye healthcare education programs for paramedics working in factories within the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones (DEPZ), with the aim of expanding improved eye healthcare services throughout various regions in Bangladesh.

Furthermore, we organized eye camps for local area, visiting 85 Community clinics in the project areas of Savar and Dhamrai. As a result, 13,507 local residents received high-quality eye healthcare services.

The Heart-to-Heart Foundation has played a vital role in reducing the prevalence of blindness in Bangladesh through the prevention and early intervention of eye diseases. We are dedicated to continuing our work to prevent eye diseases in Bangladesh
